One of the things I love about Amsterdam is how you can look into each other’s houses and it always looks so cosy. While it would be rude to peer in to one another’s homes in London, in Holland it’s perfectly normal. I asked the woman who lived in this house whether I could take a picture of her kitchen/living room. She was totally happy with it, waving at us through the window. It’s a former shop and you see this quite a lot in Amsterdam. I love it.
