Angela’s On The Move

What is it with pregnant women and moving house? Is it the nesting instinct? Or the fact that we know we won’t need to help with the lifting? Ahem.

Anyway, here we are moving far too many boxes out of our flat in London and into our new (family!) home – a tiny cottage out in the suburbs. All change!

Obviously style isn’t a major priority today, but let’s not scare the new neighbours, eh? I’m keeping it simple in a pair of skinny jeans, a laid back striped top and some well-worn white Converse.

Like most girls, I live in skinny jeans 24/7 and so I knew they’d still be a staple for my maternitywear wardrobe. The Zadie Super Stretch Skinny Maternity Jean is my perfect fit – super-tight and low cut, dark and smart; just the way I like them. Plus, at six months in, my bump is starting to get quite heavy (hopefully, mostly baby), and the Zadie’s stretchy over-the-bump waistband is majorly comfy and supportive.

Meanwhile, the Navy/Silver Melange Betty Stripe Maternity Top is a no-brainer; I mean, when is a classic Breton tee NOT the right thing to wear?

Which is probably just as well… Given the hopelessly chaotic way we’ve packed, these clothes may be the only ones I’ll be able to lay my hands on for a little while…
