As you probably all know, here at Isabella Oliver HQ we’re always trying to keep each other busy and do things together outside working hours.  So we thought that as we’ve all been so busy recently it would be nice to let our hair down and make the most of our beautiful garden by having a BBQ.

So Baukjen and Geoff set the date and kindly offered to provide drinks and food with the rest of the team contributing salads and snacks. As you can see from the photos below, we had burgers and sausages (with veggie versions of course) all freshly grilled by our master chef Henry, with sides (all kinds of sauce and gherkins) prepared by Geoff. I brought in the tzatziki but I think I may have overdone it with the chillies (I never follow a recipe) and apparently it had quite a kick to it!

If that wasn’t enough, Neal went the extra mile and made jelly shots which he proudly presented on a big tray. I wish you could have seen our faces when we saw these little shot glasses filled up with orange jelly – he thought he’d stick to our brand colour – love the attention to detail!! I think I can say that was the moment when the fun began (he made about 60 so there were plenty to go round)!

The laughs kept on coming when we had a quiz (Francesca’s idea) where I presented the team with a range of baby pictures and we had to guess who was who. Apparently when I was a toddler I looked like Neal, Geoff or Henry! But there will be more about that in our next post…!
