Hi, Baukjen here.

Recently we were invited for dinner by friends at their home. All I can say is that we can’t have them for dinner at ours!

When we arrived, the house was full of lit candles (love!). We enjoyed cocktails and canapés and after a while we went to the kitchen where all was revealed. They had left work early to prepare a sushi delight dinner. The table was full of all kinds of delicious bites hand made by them and sourced from a wonderful fish monger in London (the photos give an insight but don’t do it justice).

What followed was a wonderful evening of fabulous food, great company, lots of laughs and finished with chocolate delights (the host is the creative director of one of the main chocolate brands – what a great job to have). Various drinks flowed  and  no-one wanted the evening to end so we talked in to the early hours and needless to say we left the car outside, took a taxi home and picked up the car the next day. Here are a few snapshots of the evening. It was a real treat to everyone who was there and we all went to bed far too late but had a fantastic time. Thank you to our hosts for for such a great evening.

We had an absolutely wonderful time, though we’re now in trouble as we have no idea what to cook when they come to ours…

P.s. they very kindly gave us a huge box of chocolates to share with the Isabella Oliver team the next day which we did and everyone enjoyed.
