A cold chill has descended on the country, sending a shiver down my back and forcing me to reassess the practicality of my wardrobe. Thankfully I have always loved winter dressing- layering up in hats, scarves and wrapping up in cosy jumpers has never been too much effort for me. I do however need to update what I have, and I am particularly excited about adding a contemporary knit to my capsule collection of winter essentials. This season I love voluminous shapes, and Isabella Oliver 365 has an array of stylish knits that are made in 100% Merino wool so they’re cool and cosy.

First on my list is the Boxy Jumper in Olive. This knit is great when you want a statement piece that remains effortless. Complement the soft volume of this top with skinny leg trousers such as treggings or leggings.

The Poncho is the perfect option if you love to layer like me. I would team this knit with a long sleeved tee and skinny jeans, perfect for easy weekend style. Try cinching in the waist with a belt.

Finally, The Slouchy V Neck is one of my favourite pieces from our current collection. With its relaxed fit and borrowed from the boys look, it is the epitome of effortless cool.
