Last weekend Geoff and our boys went camping together. As Pippa and I weren’t invited, we decided to have a Girls weekend together. I booked a gorgeously cosy room in Dean Street Townhouse (http://www.deanstreettownhouse.com/). Before we left home, I painted our nails orange (Marina of the Isabella Oliver team had kindly bought me a bright orange nail varnish that I had been admiring her wearing last week – thank you Marina x). We hopped in to a cab and headed off to the hotel to put our bags in the room and head out. We walked around Carnaby Street, Neals Yard etc (I put my hands over Pippa’s eyes when we walked past Agent Provocateur’s window display!). I restocked on MAC make up products (love that shop, could buy everything) and when we passed the Hummingbird Bakery,  (http://hummingbirdbakery.com) Pippa chose a cupcake – pink of course. When we got back to the hotel, Pippa enjoyed hot chocolate in the bath that stood in our room. Then it was time to get dressed up and go for dinner in the Dean Street Townhouse Restaurant. A glass of milk for her and a glass of red wine for me. Afterwards we were off to bed and the next morning we had breakfast in bed while watching some films. The staff at Dean Street Townhouse very kindly let us check out late. The only sad face that weekend was when I told Pippa that we really couldn’t stay another day…  It was a perfect weekend together.
