Last weekend, some old friends came to London for the weekend and stayed over at ours. Friday evening we went for dinner at one of my favourite restaurants, one which  I try to make sure I go to at least once a year. It’s called Hakkasan and it’s in Hanway Place. It’s a fun place to go, with great food and wonderful cocktails. I ordered the Pink Mojito cocktail and it was so delicious that I refused to try anything else (though everyone else tried others but at the end of the evening everyone agreed that this one was the best). Food-wise, the starters were amazing, the main courses were great too but the starters won hands down. Next time we go, we’ll not order the main courses but instead order heaps of the starters (try the duck salad). If you’re in London or visiting, it really is a great place to go to for a fun evening with fabulously delicious food & cocktails.

The rest of the weekend was spent relaxing together. Breakfast at Le Pain Quotidien, long walks on Hampstead Heath and endless cups of tea while catching up on what was going on in everyone’s lives. A perfect weekend with old friends.
