It's wednesday evening and it's been a busy week so far (And I only came back on Tuesday). Vanessa and I have edited down the Autumn Winter collection for 2009/2010 down but there are still way too many pieces. If money did not play a role, we'd be launching over 100 new designs in the two collections. However, as that makes no sense, we have quite a way to go. Internally the teams are working hard on getting the snags out of the new back end systems, preparing the launch in to France and of course working on the launches of the Spring Summer collections for maternity and 365. Not to forget our launch in to Australia. Everyone has a lot going on with little time so it's quite a challenge. But the determination to do the various projects is strong and we are very proud of the team (this is an understatement). In two months time we will have two lines, one maternity, one non. Very exciting. The Autumn Winter collections for next year are looking absolutey fabulous, we cant wait to photograph them.

.. I already have. I was over for dinner at my friend, Sara Berman's, house a few weeks ago and she gave me a gorgeous pair of gloves that I have worn ever since. Everywear I go, women stop me to ask where I bought them. If you love them too, you can buy them here.

as you may have noticed, we recently launched our new website. At the same time, we launched a new warehousing system which has created some problems for the various teams including the Customer services team. These two major changes, together with the high volume of sales, have meant that the Customer Services team have been and are working extremely hard to deliver the high standard of service they usually give. Please bear with us while we solve the final snags of the systems and soon our service will be better than ever. In the meantime thank you for your patience and also thank you to the Customer Services team for the exceptionally hard work they are putting in, Vanessa, Geoff and Baukjen

We headed off to Istanbul for the weekend to celebrate Geoff's birthday. On the plane I read lots of magazines and then started to watch a film on my laptop called The Notebook. Not a good idea. Tears streaming down my face. I didnt have enough time to finish the film so in the taxi to the hotel I watched the rest, again tears. Geoff was handing me tissues. What a beautiful film but do make sure you have tissues at hand. Istanbul is a fabulous city to visit. Lots to see, fantastic restaurants, friendly people, a weekend is really too short.

Today we received a card from a customer with a thank you and photos of her on her wedding day wearing the Belle Epoque dress. She looked absolutely beautiful. We were so flattered that she took the time to send us a card and photos, we were very touched. Thank you Mrs A, we very much appreciated it, Vanessa and Baukjen

A couple of weeks ago we spotted the lovely Vera Farmiga wearing Isabella Oliver for her David Letterman appearance, and last week the actress wore the Bracelet Portrait Top to the New York premiere of her latest film Nothing But the Truth.

We think she looks great, and we would like to thank her for choosing Isabella Oliver again.

Our lovely Zoe has just come back from a romantic weekend in New York with a (GORGEOUS) new sparkling ring on her finger!

Yes, he popped the question and though, in our excitement we forgot to ask, we are pretty sure she said yes!

Congratulations Zoe from all of us. We are so happy for you and well done Chris!
