How and when can I place an order?

Who can I speak to for advice?

To talk to our friendly customer service team, just call us between 8.30am and 8.30pm Monday to Friday (Saturday 9am to 5.30pm) and we'll try our best to help. Outside of these hours, we'll gladly manage your query, but we're unable to offer a personal shopping service.

How can I pay for my order?

All transactions are in pounds sterling (£). We accept: Visa, Visa Debit, Maestro, and MasterCard. We only charge your card when your items are ready to be dispatched, not when your order is placed.

How will my order be packaged?

We gift wrap every order and deliver wherever you wish. If your order is a gift, just add a personal message at our checkout and we'll happily include a handwritten gift card.

Is your maternity wear machine washable?

Our designs are made in wearable fabrics for maximum comfort and a flawless silhouette throughout pregnancy. We believe in stress-free style, so most are machine washable for added ease.

What size should I order?

Our Isabella Oliver Maternity pieces are available in sizes 0 to 6 (UK sizes 4 to 20), and are designed in line with your pre-pregnancy clothing size, allowing for the normal weight gain associated with pregnancy. The fit measurements of each piece can be found in the 'Details' tab of our product pages.

How quickly are Isabella Oliver orders dispatched?

Please note that during busy sale periods deliveries may take longer than the estimated delivery time.

We want you to receive your clothes as soon as possible, so place your order before 3pm Monday to Friday and it will leave Isabella Oliver the same day, if all items are in stock. Place your order after 3pm and it will be sent the next working day. To ensure you order is delivered to you safe and sound, we need a complete address and a daytime phone number in case we need to contact you.

Choose the delivery option that best suits how quickly you need your clothes. Every order comes gift wrapped whether it's a gift for someone else or yourself. If you'd like to send as a gift, do tell us so we can add a handwritten gift card, with our compliments.

Don't forget...

Standard Deliveries will arrive by Royal Mail. If you are not present when your parcel arrives it could be taken to your local sorting office and a card will be left informing you of where you can go to collect it.

If your parcel is being sent by Express Delivery it requires a signature upon receipt. If you are not present when it arrives it will be taken to the local depot and a card will be left informing you of where you can go to obtain it or arrange a re-delivery with the courier.

International Delivery

We are also delighted to fulfil orders overseas, where local import duties and taxes may be payable on receipt. Please select the appropriate country site in the bottom left corner of your screen.

Please note: On international deliveries, some couriers cannot deliver to PO boxes.

Do you offer a guarantee?

There's no need to worry if you're unsure about your new clothes. You can return your clothing within 30 days of receipt for a refund or exchange. On your first exchange, we'll gladly cover the cost of standard postage to send your exchanges back to you.

What should I do if I need to return an item?

You may return your clothes for a refund or exchange within 30 days of receipt.

How quickly can I expect my return to be processed?

Returns are processed within 7-10 working days from when they arrive back to the warehouse. If you'd like more information or need a returns form, click here.

How do I redeem my gift certificate?

Add your goods to the basket as normal and proceed to the checkout. You need to enter your gift certificate number in the box provided on the payment page (Step 4).

To redeem your gift certificate your order value needs to be equal to or greater than the value of the certificate.

Why doesn't my promotion code work?

Remember, our promotional codes are only valid on Isabella Oliver products and cannot be used with sale items, so double check to see if there are any discounted items in your shopping bag. Re-enter your code carefully, noting the expiry date.

Lingerie FAQ's

Do your bras have underwiring
Midwives recommend that you should wear a soft or non-wired bra as the underwire in a normal bra can create pressure on the growing breast tissue and cause infection of the tissue, or mastitis. Amoralia bras do have a small bone in the wing, set a little further back than usual to give the bra shape and support, but without compressing delicate breast tissue. Nearly Nude Bras are extremely soft, seamless and wireless, offering 2 in one bust support. The Bella Materna Padded Pregnancy and Nursing Bra has flexi wire, approved by a lactation consultant, which is set behind the breast tissue and allows easy flow for milk ducts.

Why do I need a maternity bra?
You'll probably start looking for a maternity bra 3 or so months into your pregnancy as you notice your breasts becoming more tender, growing in size and your rib cage expanding; your bra size might go up from 2 sizes larger to as much as 4 sizes. The increase in weight and size of the breast will also cause the skin to stretch and the breast to drop, which is why it is important to be fitted for a new bra regularly. A good fitting, specifically designed maternity bra can prevent and minimise stretch marks and discomfort, keep you cool and absorb any leaking fluid. When buying a maternity bra, you should make sure that you give yourself room to grow so make sure that it fits snugly on the tightest hook.

What should I look for in a nursing bra?
Nursing bras cups should undo one-handed for easy feeding. You should also look for wider, more supportive shoulder straps, strong side panels, a very flexible, soft inner cotton 'sling' and a stretchy fabric with a high cotton content which will be breathable and help keep you cool. Your breasts will change size when the milk comes in (approximately 48 hours after the birth) and will continue to change day and night until you've established a proper routine. When buying a nursing bra you should make sure it fits snuggly on the loosest hook, as your ribcage will fall back to its natural place in the months after you've had your baby. You should also make sure that you can fit your hand inside the cup so that there is enough space for breast pads.

When should I buy my nursing bra?
It may be best to leave buying bras until 2 weeks before your due date - or later - for a more accurate fit.

How many bras do I need?
You'll probably need two maternity bras depending on how much your bust size changes. Once the baby arrives, life becomes fairly hectic and despite constantly washing you'll almost certainly need at least three nursing bras. There'll be one in the wash, one ready-to-wear, a spare one in case of any leakages and one for night time. Nursing bras need to be machine washed very frequently due to leaking milk (without fabric conditioners), and hung to dry because of their delicate nature.

Are your sizes the same as 'normal' bras?
Yes, we size them exactly the same as normal brands and sizes correspond to those that you would find in lingerie boutiques.

How should I wash them?
You can machine wash all our bras, briefs, and nightwear. We would also recommend not using a fabric conditioner and not tumble drying them.
