To celebrate London Design Festival, creative trends consultancy, Franklin Till presented three nights of gastronomic sensory feasts at the Masonic Temple at the Andaz Liverpool Street Hotel in east London. We love a cake or two here at Isabella Oliver HQ so we were more than happy when Henry produced numerous boxes of Krispy Kreme donuts this morning! Friday evening we went for dinner at one of my favourite restaurants, one which I try to make sure I go to at least once a year. It’s called Hakkasan and it’s in Hanway Place. Today in the UK is Red Nose Day, which is a day to raise money for the charity Comic Relief. All money raised helps change lives and communities in the UK and across Africa. Last night I decided to bake some cakes to sell today. So while the Isabella Office get to enjoy a cake, we also make a small contribution to a great cause. Daniel
Hi, Baukjen here. Recently we were invited for dinner by friends at their home. All I can say is that we can’t have them for dinner at ours! When we arrived, the house was full of lit candles (love!). We enjoyed cocktails and canapés and after a while we went to the kitchen where all was revealed.
