London Fashion Week *words from the street chic*

The month of AW13 fashions has now reached Milan, with the fashion set descending on the sleek city capital to take in today’s shows which feature Max Mara, McQ Alexander McQueen, Fendi, Just Cavalli, Antonio Marras, Luisa Beccaia, Prada, ports 1961 and D’Squared².

Not a city to be out-shone, London produced some of the most digitally progressive shows during London Fashion Week, which ended to rave reviews from the media on Tuesday – proving that young edgy designers teamed with London’s technical abilities will go hand in hand to push London as a leading fashion destination.

The city aesthetic is a unique one. Variations on nonchalant looks are achieved through glamorous pieces that when worn with casual separates, look easily thrown together in effortless style.

Baukjen designs are created around the same ethos, maintaining an easy chic yet creating a maximum impact.

Team Baukjen’s job at London Fashion Week was to seek street styles – those with their own takes on London dressing through the clever styling of casual separates and key pieces.
