Last night we threw our official Baukjen launch party to celebrate our new name and new look.

After a lot of preparation from our PR teams, everything was set for a great night. We left work early to head over to our fantastic venue, the Wyld Bar at W Hotel in Leicester Square with our outfits ready. After getting our glad rags on (all Baukjen looks of course!) we were ready to head downstairs and greet everyone.

As the guests began arriving, the music started and the drinks began to flow. On the menu were delicious canapés of goats cheese tarts, mini scotch quail eggs, bacon skewers and Eton mess shots. Guests were treated to the Baukjen cocktail which was a very tasty passion fruit mojito. On the deck, the super cool Edith Bowman played some tunes, getting us into the party spirit.

Baukjen and Geoff were first to arrive, followed shortly by members of the press including fashion editors as well as some of favourite bloggers. The photographer was ready to capture them as they arrived. It was great to see so many of our friends and clients at the event and looking fantastic in our pieces.

As the venue filled up, Baukjen and Geoff made time to speak to everyone and tell them a little more about the collection. With AW12 lookbooks on the tables, everyone was able to get a feel for what the new collection is all about.

A few of our favourite celebrities were next to arrive, amongst them were the equally gorgeous Jasmine Guiness, Laura Whitmore and Jade Parfitt.  Of course we all wanted to know what their favourite pieces were and you’ll be able to see the interviews we did with them on Baukjen TV shortly.

All too soon it was the end of the night and as the guests departed, we kicked off our heels and treated ourselves to a couple of Baukjen mojito’s. But we couldn’t resist keeping the party going, and so we headed around the corner to DSTRKT and danced the rest of the night away…
